Across Europe, thousands of citizens are already coming together to develop their own community energy projects. However, navigating the legal, technical, financial, and governance aspects of energy communities can be complex.

Energy Community E-learning is a free online learning platform designed to equip citizens with the skills and knowledge they need to move forward with their community energy project. Through interactive courses featuring readings, videos, assignments, quizzes, and real-life case studies, the platform offers an engaging and accessible way to learn.

Developed by REScoop.eu – the European federation of energy communities – through the OSR Coop project, this website complements the support that the Energy Community Platform offers to energy communities. While the Energy Community Platform gathers tools and resources from multiple sources in one single place; Energy Community Elearning offers structured, hands-on learning experiences specifically designed for this website.

At the moment, Energy Community E-learning only features one course on citizen-led renovation, but we aim to cover a wide range of topics related to community energy in the future.
